I love Fall. I love its crisp mornings, the bright sun that shines through my windows, the wool blanket I add to my bed and the first wood fires of the season.
Yesterday when I returned home to Pie Cottage, I opened the back door onto my deck to let Fez the cat in only to find this!
Fire starter just for me!
My dear neighbors are at it again. Spoiling me with surprises. Well, I can do that, too! Must be time for a pie-by across my alley.
And, aren’t the little things that friends do just the best kind of warmth there is?
