A “French” Apple Pie

I know, I know. It’s a little tongue in cheek, but I just couldn’t resist.

Today I made my first apple pie in France. I used local apples purchased from the market in Nérac, lard from local pigs and beautifully rendered by Kate Hill, French butter and of course flour.

Voila!

    LOL, Rainy, chilly, windy weather – enjoy France, my dear friend.

    So, is French butter different than Irish butter?

      We tasted atleast eight different French butters. Each one unique. Different than Irish. All good!
