Right now our friends in Texas need us. They are part of our family. The big human family that includes all of us. You. Me. The neighbor next door, the family across the street and up the block, the one the next town over, that girl in the hospital, that man waiting to cross the street, and the ones thousands of miles away.
Texans need us. They need water, food, shelter and us walking our talk about helping others. Now is the time.
Here is a link to the mother of all pages of where to donate in Texas where my friend Addie Broyles of the Austin American Statesman referred me. I typed in foodbank as a search in it, and came up with a listing so that’s where I donated.
Please help if you can because…
…what goes around comes around.
Amen, Sister.
Thanks Kate for the reminder. Donation to the San Antonio Food Bank made.
As a native Texan, I want to tell you that you touched my heart today. My family is safe and we have food. We are giving to food banks and local community centers where senior citizen go for food. When an emergency occurs in our country we pull together and I find that to be something well worth remembering and appreciating. Thank you each one!
