A Little Respite
With a few more letters to go to complete the TDay Alphabet posts, I’ll be taking a few days off for a little respite, to rest and regroup. It’s been a fully packed and strenuous year what with Pie Camps®, travel, the recipe development, writing, and photo shoots for a third book, and speaking engagements and it’s not over yet. I know that a little R and R is important so, I am going to take the weekend off and head to the cabin of dear friends. Someone said to me, “Oh, you will be forest bathing.” I’d heard the term and had loose idea of what it meant. Then I looked it up and thought, yes, this is exactly what I will be doing. I’m heading west to the land of the big cedar trees, to a place by the river. I’ve been there before. I’m looking forward to some quiet days out of the reach of internet and deadlines. I have a book to read, paper and pen for writing, and my beautiful Gretapie to keep me company on walks and to cuddle up with on the couch by the woodstove. When I return, you can plan on more pie posts in time for Thanksgiving. Take some time for yourself. See you soon.
Love,
Kate
Just what the doctor ordered.
Hope you have a lovely time.
It sure was! Just back from 4 wonderful off the grid days!
Kate:
It always amazes me as to how many posts and things you accomplish in the same number of days we all get. We are off to California for Thanksgivings with Annemarie’s family. Christmas is only a month away. Many blessings my friend, Rick and Annemarie
Many blessings to you and Annemarie. I hope your trip is wonderful and see you when you return!
