The Art of Home Cooking

Well my friends it’s drum roll time! Are you ready? Our book, The Art of Home Cooking: Recipes for Everyday Life, is now available for pre-order. It will be published on October 16, 2018 and I can’t wait to hold a copy of it in my hands. Until then, here’s a sneak peak of the photography shoot at Pie Cottage with Andrew Scrivani that will give you a little idea of what deliciousness will be inside the covers. 

 

 

I truly loved every moment of writing The Art of Home Cooking and can’t wait to share with you more stories, and the recipes that I have made at home for my family for decades.

    I wish you had a piechiastrist 🥧 Two day class on the basics of crust development and introduction to fillings in Tumwater ( since that’s a larger city than where I live in Vader / Winlock and more likely to attract enough students to make it a real possibility of actually happening )
    As I live quite a jaunt away and a hotel/ motel stay is not in my disability early retirement fixed income future , that’s a dream I hope one year can come true!

    I am so excited about this. One of the things I love most about Art of the Pie is your writing style, stories, and kitchen wisdom. Of course I love the recipes too! But what really sticks with me long after are the philosophies that underpin your writing. I can’t wait to see and read more of your life lessons in your new book!

    I’m so looking forward to your new book! I was going to pre-order from Amazon, but I’m wondering – do you sign copies sold through your local store? I’ve also been wanting to share that I’ve received so many compliments on my apple pies now that I’m using your recipe. Who would have thought apple cider vinegar would make such a difference? Thanks so much!

      Thanks for your kind words about AOTP! There are recipes from breakfast, all the way through dinner. It includes recipes for meat, fish, and fowl, legumes, and more.
