Traveling pie! Bought.
Thank you Amy! May all your crusts be flakey and take flight!
I absolutely love your book and a digital copy would be awesome. Thanks for the heads up.
Cathy- I’m honored that you like it! I hope you enjoy your digital copy, too!
7p in Colorado, still available and now on my Kindle. !! Picked pie cherries on the western slope today in a friend’s yard and got 7 cups of prepped fruit. They are so sweet you would not believe they are pie cherries. Just got them pitted. Baking at 8600 ft is a challenge so going to try the precooked cherries with cornstarch and cooled before pouring in the pie shell and baking. Surprise “Pie in the Sky” has no cherry pie recipe !!
Wonderful! I think pre-cooking is a great plan. Please let me know how it goes. 🙂
Thanks for the heads up. I have the hard copy, this is perfect for traveling. I puchased just now. See you at Pie Camp in August!
You are very welcome, Patrizia. Looking forward to welcome you to Pie Cottage for Pie Camp®, soon!
#1 Best Seller in Dessert Baking?? Congratulations, that’s absolutely amazing and well deserved.

Thank you, Cindy! I try not to look often, and the numbers go up and down, but still…it’s pretty darn exciting to sit in that #1 spot every once in a while.
Just returned from Day Camp at Pie Cottage. What a wonderful experience! You can read a thousand recipes and watch videos all winter, but there’s no substitute for cutting up a pile of ripe fruit and plunging your hands into a bowl of dough. Duncan is a superb teacher and patient with everyone’s questions. Seeing his processes for creating perfect crust was a revelation, and after 40 years in the kitchen I’m revamping my methods. It was also a treat to meet the other students as I don’t often get to chat with fellow pie devotees. Already planning my next trip to Port Angeles!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Kathryn! We are so happy that you enjoyed Pie Camp with Duncan, and we are looking forward to your next trip to Port Angeles. Kate
