The Pie Year
I think of pie all year long…which means I think about what is seasonally available. Right now, my pies are full of apples, pears, and quince but knocking at the door are pumpkin and cranberry. I was absolutely thrilled when my dear friend Elise Bauer of Simply Recipes sent me a copy of this sweet letterpress pie calendar with hand painted artwork by Rebekah Tennis and recipes by Elise. There is a pie for every month with ingredients on the front and the recipe on the back of each page. Think of it as your own personal pie of the month club!

And, the pies don’t stop once you’ve turned the last page either as each page will trim down to a 5×7 recipe card or art print. How cool is that!
Thank you Rebekah and Elise. This addition to Pie Cottage is sweet sweet sweet. As next year’s calendars are starting to pop up, I think your creation will please a lot of pie makers.
